Cora Jean Leenheer

Cora Jean Leenheer lives in the Colorado foothills with her husband Jerry, enjoying an active lifestyle and service in their small church in the mining/gambling town of Black Hawk. She leads a community women’s Bible study there; she served as national President of Women’s Ministries in the Evangelical Free Church (EFCA). She spent a year serving in Brazil and six years on the EFCA mission board. She is a writer and an editor, writing historical scripts for her community chorale’s performances and editing Women of the Harvest publications and the Get HOPE Global materials.

A Minnesota native and the oldest of eight, Cora Jean now seizes every opportunity to visit her son in Albuquerque and her daughter in Indio, CA, to enjoy their families (including three delightful grandsons!).
