Mimi Kaplysh has had two very interesting careers. First, she was a radio, TV and film actress for 10 years. Then she went to Denver Seminary and received her Masters degree in Christian Counseling and became a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in women’s trauma for 10 years. Only God could know that these two very different careers would be valuable in her role with Get HOPE Global. Mimi trains HOPE Advocates who encourage, support and act as prayer partners for global program leaders teaching the HOPE training programs. She also helps write, edit and present some of the Get HOPE Global materials and oversees the Prayer Team. She and her husband, Ted, are retired and live in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado where they enjoy hiking in the summer, snowshoeing in the winter, traveling, and being grandparents with their two grandchildren in Denver.
